Our Second Mile Giving Partner for the month of March is
Lutheran World Relief.
LWR was founded in 1945 by
Lutherans in the USA to respond to humanitarian needs.
Today LWR reaches millions of people around the world
through its programs in emergency operations and
sustainable development.
Our congregation has been very supportive of LWR over
the years, through sending of quilts, school kits, hygiene
kits, and financial support through our Second Mile
Giving program, and other fund-raising ventures. Please
join in again for supporting this important agency that
responds to human needs and crises in our Second Mile
Offering in March.
