All Saints Lutheran Church
A Congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America
Meet the Pastor
Rev. David Miller (he/him/his)

An 80’s kid, Pastor Dave grew up in Portland, OR (Go Blazers!) where he showed interest in all things nerdy and sporty. After completing high school he graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkeley, CA.
Pastor Dave was ordained in 2009 near his first call in Ohio, and has served as a congregational pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America ever since. He completed his internship in a small town near Pittsburg, PA, and 2 previous calls in Southern Ohio and Oregon. Pastor Dave has has served on the Ohio Campus Ministry Board, the Lutheran Office of Public Policy-CA and is trained as a Mission Developer.
October 9, 2022, in additional to ASLC pastoral duties, Pastor Dave was elected and installed as the new Dean of The Bridges Conference. This Conference includes ELCA congregations in Napa and Marin counties and goes south and east to include Vallejo, Richmond, El Cerrito, Berkeley and Oakland. Each dean wil serve the Office of the Bishop with an Assistant to the Bishop.. (There is currently only 1 Assistant to the Bishop in place). They offer pastoral care to pastors, work with congregations as needed, assist congregations in the call process, etc.
Pastor Dave can be found in various coffee shops in the North Bay, often reading or on his computer working. He loves telling dad jokes, working out at the gym, sorting comic books, and spending time with the love of his life, Natalie, their amazing and fearless 2 kids and playing with their joyful, food-crazed pug Cora. Ask him about 90’s music, movies, video games, Star Trek and anything Disney.
