Ash Wednesday - February 18 - On Ash Wednesday we begin our forty-day journey toward Easter. Marking our foreheads with dust, we acknowledge that we die and return to the earth. At the same time, the dust traces the life-giving cross indelibly marked on our foreheads at baptism. Imposition of ashes will be available from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Our worship service, which will also include the imposition of ashes as well as the celebration of the Lord’s Supper will begin at 6:00 p.m. ***No Zoom available for evening service.

Lenten Series on Faith, Repentance, and Creation Care - Tuesdays—2/24, 3/3, 3/10, 3/17, 3/24)  Caring for creation invites us to confess our complicity in ecological harm, embrace God’s call to restoration, and participate in God’s work of renewal in the world. A light dinner will be available 5:30 – 6:00 p.m. Each evening’s reflection will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end by 6:45 p.m. ***No Zoom available for evening service.

Palm / Passion Sunday - March 29: We wave palms in celebration today as Christ comes into our midst, and we follow with trepidation as his path leads to death on the cross. We begin this week that stands at the center of the church year, anticipating the completion of God’s astounding work. Our worship service will begin outside beneath the pergola (weather permitting) at 9:30 a.m. with the entire congregation processing into the sanctuary.

Maundy Thursday (April 2): Tonight, we remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples and his commandment to love through humble service. Our worship service will begin at 6:00 p.m. ***No Zoom available for evening service.

Good Friday - April 3: In a service of increasing darkness, we recount the Passion of Christ according to John. Jesus reveals the power and glory of God, even as he is put on trial and sentenced to death. But, even as we leave in silence, we leave in hope: Easter light is coming. Our Tenebrae worship service will begin at 6:00 p.m. ***No Zoom available for evening service.

Easter - April 5: This is the day the Lord has made! Christ is risen, and through him all creation is made new! Our worship service will begin at 9:30 a.m. Following worship, you are invited to stay for a light brunch and Easter egg hunt.
