As we move along further with the adverse effects of the pandemic coronavirus, it is evident that homelessness is growing. It is good to know that there are agencies out there working to reduce homelessness. One of these agencies is our featured Second Mile Giving ministry partner. Lutheran Social Services of Northern California. (LSS)
LSS responds when people are vulnerable because of homelessness, mental illness, drug addiction or disaster. It provides support services and compassionate guidance to help individuals families and youth emerging from foster care to stabilize their lives and become self-sufficient.
The LSS programs serve clients from San Joaquin County to the Oregon Border, providing hope, housing and compassionate support.
